Dear Brothers and Sisters in Humanity,
The 100,000+ people affected by the recent calamities in Iran are in our prayers.
Those who can afford more or would like to take it a step further, this is our chance to rebuild a community, a city, a broken dream...
Imagine waking up one day & finding all your loved ones, your mom, dad, sister(s), brother(s), children, nieces & nephews, grandparents, wife, husband, uncle(s) & aunt(s), your best friend(s), your neighbors, your teachers... dead, gone forever. Your home, your security, crumbled over your head...
And no one there to call for help...
Cash, canned food, water bottles, new clothes, new blankets, Non-expired medication (e.g., antibiotics, etc...), medical supplies (e.g. dialysis machines, etc...), flash lights, shovels, and tents are in great need!
Please make an online donation with the Mercy Corps' Iran Earthquake fund. The Mercy Corps team arrived in Iran early Saturday morning.
The Iranian Muslim Association of North America (IMAN) is also coordinating relief efforts. Print a Donation Authorization Slip (PDF) and fax it to IMAN at 310-202-0878.
